Using Your Human Design Undefined Energy Centers to Clarify Your Niche + Messaging

In Human Design, the 9 energy centers represent the core energetic hubs within your bodygraph, each corresponding to a specific aspect of your life, such as emotions, communication, identity, and intuition.

As a Soulpreneur, understanding your energy centers in Human Design is essential for aligning your business with your true essence. Defined centers provide you with consistent strengths, allowing you to bring stability and reliability to your work. For example, a defined Throat Center helps you communicate your message with clarity and authority, while a defined Sacral Center fuels your ability to work with sustained energy. 

Undefined centers, on the other hand, give you the flexibility to adapt and gain deep wisdom from external influences, such as understanding the needs and desires of your clients or collaborators. They also show us where we need to do shadow work, or where we’ve learned hard-won lessons. Understanding our own undefined energy centers gives us so much insight into our ideal client’s struggles/ goals/ desires, because they are generally on a similar journey as us. 

So in this podcast episode, I go through each energy center and talk about the the lessons they may be teaching you, and how you can apply that to your messaging/ content to call in the most aligned ideal clients (“niche”). 

For me, it was especially impactful to learn about and process the lessons I’ve learned through having an open G-Center. This is the center of Identity, Love, and Direction. When we have an open G-Center, the “not self” theme/ question to ponder is: Am I looking for/ fixated on finding love and direction (from an external source)? I see how there have been times in my life when I have “outsourced” my sense of self and looked to others for the love that I craved because I didn’t trust in my self-love.

Not surprisingly, my own entrepreneurial journey has been a huge catalyst for recononing with this question and learning hard-won lessons about who I am and what I stand for. Now I help others, through coaching and human design, understand themselves better, express their unique personality/ identity and bring that into their business through branding and messaging.
