What happens when two women with a shared passion for community, healing, and meaningful experiences come together to create something bigger than themselves?

In this episode, I'm talking with Aubree Saia and Amy Pearce-Hayden, the creators of Remembrance Festival and co-founders of Living Ritual, about their journeys as multi-passionate entrepreneurs and the vision behind this new gathering happening January 9–10, 2027, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Aubree is an embodiment guide, breathwork facilitator, and spiritual yoga teacher whose work weaves together movement, breath, ritual, and ceremony to invite people into deeper connection with themselves and their bodies.

Amy is a teacher, author, and community builder who creates experiences that help people integrate timeless wisdom into everyday life, fostering greater presence, resilience, and authentic connection.

Together, they share how their individual journeys brought them into collaboration and how an inspired moment inside the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra building became the beginning of Remembrance Festival.

We talk about the deeper meaning of remembrance, why experience and integration are so important, and what it looks like to create a gathering that brings together different traditions, modalities, and communities through music, movement, ritual, art, and healing.

We also explore the power of collaboration, creating from a place of trust rather than control, and why coming together in community feels especially meaningful right now.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • Aubree and Amy's entrepreneurial journeys and the creation of Living Ritual

  • How the idea for Remembrance Festival came to life

  • The deeper meaning of remembrance and reconnecting with who we are

  • The festival's three foundational areas: education, health advocacy, and embodiment

  • What attendees can experience through movement, music, art, ritual, and healing

  • Creating an inclusive gathering for people from different backgrounds and traditions

  • The importance of experience, integration, and authentic human connection

  • Collaboration, community, and bringing our individual gifts together

If you've been craving more meaningful connection, curious about exploring new experiences, or feeling inspired to create something in collaboration with others, I think you'll love this conversation.

And if you're in or around Madison, I hope you'll join us at Remembrance Festival!
